Thank you so much for deciding to stay at The Rocky Mount. This is our Mountain Retreat. We hail from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, about 2 hours away; we are both busy and hard-working individuals and needed a retreat someplace close but as beautiful as home. We visited the area and knew right away that we wanted to come back time and time again.

 

So after jumping head first into our first home purchase and remodel, we have decided to open our little retreat to those who want to share in this beautiful place. We hope you will love it just as much as we do!

 

Take a stroll down by the river or relax on the porch listening to the sounds of nature. From the chirping songbirds, cows mooing, insects fluttering, and the footsteps of the deer walking thru the fields, this is a nature lover's dream.

 

Our little road sees very little traffic, so you can enjoy these sounds from the front porch or go for that run or walk any time of day. We are available to answer any questions you may have during your stay. We want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We are most accessible by text or email during the day.
